O.G.C 2022 YOUTH GOLF CAMP

Our mission is to lead, teach, and mentor the fundamentals of golf, while playing the game with an emphasis on values, etiquette, responsibility, and integrity.
 

The Youth Golf Camp is structured as a seasonal five-day event. A Bag Lunch is provided all 5 days for participants and students are welcomed with a golf starter bag. The fee for the week is $135 per student to be paid in full by July 1st. A non-refundable deposit of $35 is needed to register and secure your spot. (class size is limited)

The first 4 days consist of lessons and golf instruction for participants, culminating in a 6 hole modified golf tournament at the end of the week on Friday, using an improvised scoring format based upon the USGA handicap calculation system. Instruction is provided by OGC Golf Pro Mark Althiser who is USGTF (United States Golf Teaching Federation) certified. Lunch is included all 5 days for participants and students are welcomed with a golf starter bag. We ask students to arrive at 8:30am on Monday for registration purposes. Friday starts with a meeting at 8:30am with the tournament starting at 9am. There will be 3
divisions,ages 8-11,12-14 and 15 and up. Following the tournament there will be a drive,chip and putt contest, also in 3 divisions. Camp closing ceremonies commence at noon.Students will have their lunch and winners of the tournament, driver, putt and chip contest will be recognized. We welcome parents and guests to attend the ceremony with lunch available for purchase from The Porch menu at that time. We ask students to be picked up by 1pm that
day. All proceeds generated from this event are invested back into the program and its participants. This will cover items such as starter golf kits, meals, and gifts. Other assets, such as learning tools and equipment used for the Youth Golf Camp, are held in endowment for  future seasons.
